The Healthy Weigh Out

Marta joins us via TheHealthyWeighOut program, a weight loss program created especially for emotional eaters. She has been a Fitness Specialist with the program since October 2014.

Marta’s training philosophy is centered around educating the client about general fitness and healthy, safe movement. She does so with a gentle, no judgement and open communication approach. Her goal is to help clients grow more functional, knowledgeable, motivated and confident. Full body training, building muscular strength and endurance, as well as, cardiovascular fitness, is always a long term goal for all clients. Getting there is customized based upon each client’s individual needs and abilities.

Marta has always believed in the value of exercise, participating in high school and college sports, group fitness classes and weight training for over 30 years. Marta has been a Certified Instructor since 1996 and a Certified Personal and Weight Trainer since 2000.

Back pain following the birth of her third child brought Marta to Pilates where she became Certified in the Im=X Pilates method in 2008. Marta has Level 1 Im=X mat and reformer pilates method certification. Marta is a magazine article contributor and an online video trainer with a prominent industry health and wellness provider.

Brian became a trainer at FITLIFE in the summer of 2016. His focus is on improving athlete strength and movement patterns for both life and sport. He has over 20 years of experience playing and coaching ice hockey across North America and Europe. Brian also runs several hockey skill development programs throughout the valley. He is passionate about connecting with people of all ages and abilities to help them achieve their best on and off the ice.
