FITLIFE has been training anyone desiring to play for the Horizon baseball team for 5 years now. The program design is a periodized approach for the fall. We begin in August by building a base of fitness with the emphasis on Endurance and meet after school using the baseball facilities 3 times a week for 5 weeks. The next phase is to enhance strength which meets 2 times a week for 5 weeks. The final phase is speed and explosion 2 times a week for another 5 weeks. Sessions are on the field and include a variety of sport specific functional activities in the team environment.
