Athletic Trainer

JT Westling is a product of the great state of Arizona.  Born and raised in Phoenix, he attended Pinnacle High School where he played a critical role in the success of the Pioneer soccer team.  While being heavily involved in the game of soccer, he was able to continue his career at the University of Arizona, while majoring with a B.S. in Psychology.

While at the U of A, he happened upon the door to the realm of sports medicine and decided to take the journey through.  Post U of A, he attended the University of Idaho to pursue a Master’s degree in Athletic Training.  Through his life and school experiences, his passion for a healthy lifestyle is fueled from realizing that there is always room for improvement.  Through his education at the University of Idaho, he learned that the care and treatment of a person can obtain the highest success through applying a person-centered approach.  This means taking the time to know someone on a person-to-person basis, rather than a seeing someone as another assembly line piece.  JT is looking forward to collaborating with John and other staff members to create an uplifting, fun, positive, growth-mindset environment at FITLIFE.

In his time away from FITLIFE, he enjoys cooking, baking bread from his homegrown sourdough culture, playing soccer, spending time with his family and friends, and taking the opportunity to advance his knowledge is whatever subject is currently fueling his itch.
