During my 20 years of directing FITLIFE, I have continually thought about ways to improve our services and facilities and more recently how to help our members achieve our vision for each of them to “Live. All In.”  When thinking of that phrase, it begs the question, are we providing our members the training, motivation, information and guidance that they need to succeed in their ability to fulfill this motto.  Each person’s individual plan varies but the cornerstones remain the same.  From my perspective, our staff has the educational background, interest, commitment and the personal drive to guide our members toward this objective. As National Athletic Training Month winds down this week, we hope you’ve enjoyed catching a glimpse into the life and history of a few of the ATs that have helped make FITLIFE great. FITLIFE is proud to be an Athletic Trainer owned and operated business for over 20 years. Throughout this time the profession has advanced greatly and will continue to do so. Today I sat down with one of our outstanding high school student athletes, Notre Dame Prep senior volleyball player, Nicole Shuhandler.  Having my job is great because of the people I get to meet and work with every day.  I really enjoy being around athletes of all ages but the high school ones are special as I get to impact their success and help them with any set backs. Today, for National Athletic Training Month, we are highlighting Head Athletic Trainer Dan Wright, MS, ATC/L, CSCS from the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club and original co-founder of FITLIFE Health Systems. Dan has over 32 years of experience in the field of Athletic Training with 19 of those being in MLB. There is a ton to learn from this Q&A and a lot of excellent advice.

Ciao tutti da Italia! Hi everyone from Italy! Today is a special post with a trip to Rome to see my daughter Sami and my very good friends Lucio and Sergio. Sami is a Junior and business major at the Eller School of Business at the University of Arizona and is in Rome for a semester in their study abroad program. FITLIFE Visits With Yoga Instructor Anton Mackey!

Today it’s a beautiful 75 degree day in centerfield where Anton Mackey is leading  a yoga class of 65 players from the Horizon High School Baseball team.  This is the 6th straight year that he has been instructing a 1 hour Vinyasa class for the program in the month of January, and it’s seriously the highlight of their off season training! FITLIFE Visits With Orthopedic Surgeon, Angelo Mattalino


Today, a long time friend and associate dropped by for a few minutes to catch up. Dr. Angelo Mattalino, Othopedic surgeon and pivotal person in the beginning of FITLIFE Health Systems, Inc. Angelo was my team physician at Horizon High School in 1996 and friend of my past business partner, Dan Wright AT. They knew each other through professional baseball connections.
